Aluminum Fabrication

This stage is used to make holes in aluminum profiles, whether for bolt systems, rivets, or inter-component connections.
With automatic drilling machines, Exalum ensures that each hole is precise in size and position, without damaging the metal structure.
Drilling is carried out at high speed while maintaining a smooth finish.

Before entering the assembly process, aluminum profiles must be cut to the exact size. Exalum uses automatic cutting machines (precision saw cutting) that are capable of producing cuts with precision tolerances down to the millimeter. This step ensures that each component is ready for assembly without the need for additional adjustments in the field.

​After the cutting and shaping processes, the aluminum surface usually goes through a brushing stage. This stage aims to clean the surface, remove fine scratches, and prepare the metal before entering the finishing stage, such as anodizing or powder coating. The result is a smoother, more uniform surface that is ready for a protective coating.

Once all components are ready, the next stage is assembly.
Exalum has a team of experienced technicians who are capable of assembling various aluminum components into a complete system or module for construction, industrial frames, and interior products. This stage ensures that customers receive ready-to-install products, not just raw material pieces.

The punching process is used to create specific shapes or holes at high speed using hydraulic pressure. This method is very efficient for mass production and ensures uniform results. Punching is widely applied in industrial, architectural, and automotive products that require specific patterns or ventilation.

For certain architectural or design applications, aluminum often needs to be shaped with curves or specific angles. Exalum performs the bending process using computer-controlled (CNC) machines, ensuring symmetrical results and preventing cracks on the metal surface.

In certain applications, the ends of aluminum profiles need to be tapered so that they can be easily attached to other components. The tapering process at Exalum is carried out using high-precision machines that ensure the size and angle of inclination are in accordance with the design.
